Junior Artworker (Full Time)

We are seeking a creative and motivated Junior Artworker to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for design and a keen eye for detail, ready to contribute to various projects. Duties:

• Assist in the creation, preparing, proofing and checking of visually appealing designs for digital-ready print media, including marketing materials, social media graphics, and website assets.

• Collaborate with senior designers, marketing, sales and other team members to understand project requirements and objectives. Develop innovative concepts that align with project goals.

• Develop/maintain brand identities for both customers and our business.

• Utilise Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) to produce high-quality graphics and layouts.

• Participate in brainstorming sessions and present design ideas effectively to the team.

• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

• Supply ad hoc design collateral for the business.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in graphic design, either professionally or as part of a personal portfolio.

• A portfolio showcasing previous design work is required for consideration.

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) is essential.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to present ideas clearly and confidently.

• Excellent English writing skills.

• Ability to work to deadlines.

• Excellent attention to detail.

• Eagerness to learn, take initiative and grow within the role.

• Knowledge of print design is advantageous.

Full Time Hours of work are 40 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 8.15am to 5.00pm and Fridays 8.15am to 3.45pm.

Pay is based on minimum wage and rolled up holiday pay.

On-site parking available.
