Production Operative (Full Time)

We are looking for a Full-Time Production Operative, this will be a temporary position until the end of August.

Your primary role will be to operate the various finishing machines and product assembly processes, such as pad printing, wire bound notebooks and calendars, sublimation print processes, laser cutting, greeting card creasing and the production of coasters.

Full training will be given.

You will need:

• Good hand eye coordination, good attention to detail and the ability to stand for long periods of time is essential.

• To be able to carry out safe lifting and manual handling.

• Good level of spoken and written English.

• Basic level of Maths.

• Due to the nature of the work and business, you will need to be adaptable and versatile.

• You will be required to wear steel toe capped boots and appropriate PPE.  

In addition to the above you may be required to undertake additional duties within the company as deemed appropriate. No task will be given without suitable discussion and full training.

Previous experience of working in production would be an advantage. 

Full Time Hours of work are 40 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 8.15am to 5.00pm and Fridays 8.15am to 3.45pm.

Some overtime may be required. 

Pay is based on minimum wage and rolled up holiday pay.
